I have been teaching for La Joya ISD since I was hired at La Joya Early College High School in August of 2015. I am currently teaching Algebra II DE (Math 1414 College Algebra) and Precalculus PreAP, and I am the Math Team Leader.
I started teaching in June 2002. I taught for Rio Grande City CISD for 13 years before comming to La Joya ISD. While at RGCCISD, I taught at Rio Grande City HS from 2002-2006, Grulla Middle School from 2006-2010, and RGCCISD Grulla HS from 2010-2015. At the middle school level I taugth 8th grade Math and Algbra I, while at the high school level I taught Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Precalculus, Math Models, ISM, College Algebra, and College Precalculus.
I have also been teaching as an Adujunct Instructor for South Texas College since 2016. I have taught Developmental Math 100, Developemental Math 200, College Algebra, Statistics, Contemporary Math, and Buisiness Calculus.
My hobbies include spending time with my husband and kids, playing World of Warcraft, and baking. Besides that, if I am not teaching math, I am about to teach math, or am thinking about teaching math!
