Nancy García, colonel for the La Joya High School Jewelettes, a senior at La Joya Early College, was one of two La Joya ISD students selected for an all-star squad of dancers from across the state who participate in the Texas Dance Educators Association convention held in Houston during the holiday break. The Texas Dance Educators' Association continues to celebrate its dedicated service to the advancement of dance education throughout the state of Texas. TDEA provides opportunities for this progress through a series of events that take place during a three-day convention.
