From accreditation updates and enrollment reports to participating in student support and content-specific training, today is just one part of our commitment to student success.

La Joya ISD is closely monitoring the approaching cold weather conditions scheduled for next week. We will make decisions about a school delay or closure, as we gather additional information. Classes are to continue as scheduled until further notice. We hope this message finds you well. We want to inform you that the Department of Public Safety (DPS) will be conducting training at the Jimmy Carter Campus during the week of December 11-15, 2023. The training sessions will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on those days.
We understand that increased activity, especially when it involves law enforcement training, can sometimes raise concerns within the community. We want to assure you that this training is a routine and essential part of our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of public safety.
The training is carefully planned to ensure minimal disruption to the community, and all necessary precautions will be taken to guarantee the safety of residents. We kindly request your understanding and cooperation during this period.
