Dear La Joya ISD Family, Due to upcoming inclement weather conditions and in consideration for the safety of our school community, La Joya ISD will have a regular day on Monday, January 15, 2024 and delayed starts on Tuesday, January 16 & Wednesday, January 17, 2024. Parents can drop-off students at the time they usually do. All staff will report at their regular time. Instructional time and bus pickup time for those days will be as follows: Schedule for Tuesday, January 16 & Wednesday, January 17, 2024 Bus Pickup Time Instructional Start Time Elementary: 9:00AM Elementary: 10:00AM Middle School: 9:45AM Middle School: 10:45AM High School: 10:15AM High School: 11:00AM All outdoor Athletic competitions and practices will be canceled for Tuesday, January 16 & Wednesday January 17, 2024. These outdoor activities will resume on Thursday, January 18, 2024. All indoor Athletic Events will proceed as scheduled. Tutoring and ACE afterschool programs will be canceled for those days as well. We will diligently monitor weather conditions over the next 48 hours to determine the appropriate timing for the resumption of normal operations at La Joya ISD. Kindly refer to our official social media channels, @lajoyaisd, and our district website, www.lajoyaisd.com, for the latest updates.
